about me

I’m David … 36 years old … Australian … thinker, traveller, philosopher, philanderer … you know, the usual crap.

Notice: March 2009, I begin the journey of a life time. A ’round the world’ trip beginning in Korea and ending in Cuba. This adventure will take up over a year of my life. Stay tuned for more details.

What’s this blog about??? It’s a journal of collected thoughts and memories. There’s also some future plans that I wish to remember. So I’m using this blog as a way to keep my mind together.

If you want to know more about me, send me an email or a message of some kind. I’ll do my best to get back to you … and don’t worry, this page is only just being re-written. I’ll add more (including pictures) in the future.

Stay cool.

Hi Dave!

Wonder if you happen to know which clan the Smeaton name (sept) belongs to?

Thanks and keep up the beautiful photography!

Respectfully,

Hi Dave, I’m hoping you’re superdave999 who put the extended V soundtrack on Demonoid, I can’t download as it’s not recent enough — anyway of making it more current? Impressed you managed to find all the missing tracks. Apologies if you’re the wrong Dave (enjoyed your Buddha piccs!)
Regards
Terry

Hi Dave. Another David Smeaton here from the UK but I am down in Gloucester. I haven’t visited your site in some time and have obviously missed a lot of comings and goings. I wish you well on your round the world trip, I hope you find what you are looking for. All the best. David

David,

I am excited to announce the start of a new project, Photographer Interview Series. Since you are on my short list of favorite photographers, I wanted to contact you directly.

Here is a link to our first installment http://www.ilovephotoblogs.com/photographer-interview-series-p2-photography

Basically what I had in mind was to let each photographer create and answer their own list of questions..probably in the range of 5 or so questions. This could cover the basics, i.e., what do you specialize in? where are you located? How long have you been in the business?…and anything else you would like to highlight about yourself. The whole focus of this site is to shine the spotlight on as many photographers as possible.

In addition to the interview, you can send me a link to a photo or two, to be included in the posting.

I would reserve the right to make slight editorial changes, such as grammar or formatting.

If you are still interested in participating, I look forward to reading your post.

Still have questions? Feel free to contact me.

Regards,

Rick
