autumn comes quickly

autumn has hit with a vengeance. last week the weather was really warm and pleasant. everyone was commenting on how nice the weather was. over the weekend it started raining and it continued to rain until wednesday. after that it got noticably colder. it feels like the temperature just dropped 10 degrees overnight. everyone’s walking around with jackets on and cold wind is whipping through everything.
i’ve started sleeping with my windows closed and for the past 2 days i’ve woken up with a slightly sore throat. i’m not getting sick, it’s just the sudden change in the weather.
autumn happened … literally overnight.
